Jun 03, 2011 Hey guys, I just picked up my used Benelli Super Nova that I picked up on gunbroker and the transferring dealer noticed that the serial number on the receiver and the number on the barrel do not match. I am sure it will work fine but I was just wondering if that means that the barrel was not the.
Greetings,Documentation is important, the serial # is located on the ejection port side of the firearm, low between the trigger guard and the shell lifter on a thin ledge, plus your Benelli box has the same number to match up too, same with the barrel #.Check out the pics on your brochure and see the #s.Your box and firearm tells all about your firearm such as options, saftey, testing etc.hope.

Aug 14, 2020 New Vegas Style Cowboy Hats? - posted in Fallout 4 Mod Requests: I just want to know if anyone was working on creating and adding some Fallout NV style cowboy hats to Fallout 4. The Formal Hat and the Militia Hats just arent super great looking in my opinion, at least compared to what was in NV. Is someone interested, or already trying to add some cowboy hats to the game? Sep 15, 2018 This simple mod adds a new unique hat to the game. The Battered Cowboy Hat. Description: -The Rawhide Cowboy Hat has always been my favorite hat in the game. Although, recently I have grown tiered of it's lighter colour. So I've decided to make a darker and more worn version of it to fit more with a cowboy character. Mar 28, 2015 This mod adds eight new hats drawn from cowboy tropes, other cowboy-related media and some of my own ideas. Most use vanilla meshes and one uses Daniel's hat from Honest Hearts (DLC required), and two use one of dragbody's meshes from Courier's Cache. I had a lot of fun making them so chances are I'll be adding more.

I am new to shotguns and just got my license. I plan on getting the Benelli Supernova for my first shotgun but have a few questions before I make up my mind. First off, I want the field model of the 12 gauge Supernova in all black synthetic with a 26 inch barrel. Will I be able to load slug rounds with this model? Is there any way I can get the pump flush with the barrel? In other words, can I make it so both the top barrel and the bottom pump are parallel like this http://www.jaxonsgottagun.com/Remington870.jpg? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Pumpmaster12, I own a Benelli SN with the 26' barrel and an extended magazine tube. At the most basic level you have three options, cut the barrel so that the muzzle is flush with the end of the magazine tube, buy a barrel of the appropriate length or, obtain a suitable length extended magazine tube. Obviously, there are financial, practical, aesthetic and legal implications to all this. It would help to know within which country you reside. As to use of slug ammo. Most shotguns will safely fire slug rounds of the appropriate gauge, assuming that you stay within the chambering limits - no 3' shells in 2. 3/4' chambers (Not a problem with the SN as it has a 3. 1/2' chamber). Most people will tell you not to use too tight a choke. This isn't so much about safety as accuracy. I live in the UK and my SN with extended mag. tube and slug ammo. is very tightly controlled - it may be completely different where you live. Kind regards Andy

Well, having a 26' barrel AND a five shot mag. tube which is flush with the muzzle would seem to be mutually incompatible. The only option would be a dummy mag. tube extended flush with the muzzle. Although, that then begs the question, why?! Also, if the legal max. is five and you have a tube that looks if it holds more than five are you not going to be constantly having to prove to any police officer that sees you out with the gun, that the tube is a dummy? The picture of the Remington 870 that you included is a defensive configuration with an 18' barrel and a +2 magazine extension, giving it a capacity of 8 rounds (7 in the tube + 1 in the chamber). What do you intend to do with this shotgun? If you want a Benelli Supernova that looks similar to that specific Remington 870, then you want the Benelli Supernova Tactical, model 20145 or 20155, with a +2 magazine extension. Use the plug that comes with the shotgun, and you will still be within MA law. Here is an example - I just posted pics of mine. The 26' barrel has removeable chokes, so slugs are not recommended. If you want to shoot both shot and slugs in a field model Supernova, then you want to add either a rifled slug barrel, which is available, if expensive, or try to find a fixed cylinder smooth-bore barrel, which may not exist for the Benelli. You can shoot both shot and slugs out of a tactical model, no problem, since it only comes with a fixed cyclinder smooth-bore barrel. The standard magazine gives you a 5-round capacity (4 in the tube and 1 in the chamber, or 4+1, using 2 3/4' or 3' shells, or 3+1 using 3 1/2' shells), if you remove the plug. Magazine extensions of various lengths are available, but I don't know if there is one that will bring the magazine flush with a 26' barrel. Adding a long magazine extension you can't use would be expensive (over $100) and doesn't make sense, but if you absolutely have to have a 26' barrel and a magazine that is flush with the muzzle, then you could look for an appropriate magazine extension and use a wooden dowel as a plug to keep you limited to 5 rounds.

I've decided I am going to get the 24 inch barrel field model without the barrels flush. I am going to be using the gun for home defense, hunting, and at the range. I will be using both shot and slugs. For my purposes, is the field model or tactical model better?

The Supernova is modular. The differences between the various tactical and field models are stocks, barrels and finishes. If you are getting a 24' barrel, then you are getting a field model. Any shotgun will do for HD, if needed. Since you want to hunt and do range shooting, a field model makes sense. You can always add other barrels, if you want to shoot slugs or want a short barrel specifically for home defense.

You can shoot slugs through screw in chokes. I would recomend a CYL or IC choke. If you want the look of the extended mag tube there is a recoil reducer that replaces the magazine cap but it will not be flush with the barrel. I would recomend the 2 barrel aproach for HD/sporting purpose although it is more expensive for the nova/supernova than an 870 or 500. Hope that helps.

Where is the serial number on a Nova? My gun has 2 numbers. One can only be seen when the gun is cocked. There is a little plate bearing a letter and 6 numbers in front of the loading port and behind the slide. The next number is stamped on the barrel underneath the information stating that the gun can handle up to 3.5 in shells, ect. Which of these is the serial number?

The firearm's S/N is the one engraved on the plate molded into the receiver- the plate that is almost hidden by the forearm except when the action is closed.
